Literary Reading with Hamid Ismailov: The Dead Lake (December 2nd / 2 pm)
On December 2nd our Research Training Group will welcome the renowned Uzbek writer, Hamid Ismailov, for a literary reading from this book “The Dead Lake”.
When: December 2nd, 2023 / 2 to 4 pm
Where: Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg / Aula (room 1115)
The reading will be in Russian and German, with written translations into English. The Interview/Discussion will be in English with short translations into German.
This reading accompanies our second annual conference, “Environmental and Cultural Destruction in Imperial Spaces”.
