Individuals in Empires and Postimperial Spaces" Third annual conference of the RTG 2571 ‘Empires’ (Freiburg) 28 November - 30 November 2024, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany The third annual conference of the RTG Empires will explore the relations between individuals and empires and postimperial spaces. Analysing individuals in empires allows us to explore how empires shaped the lives of their subjects, but it also enables us to analyse how these subjects shaped empires on an individual basis.
